We are a community of imperfect people who love, follow and serve a perfect God.  We’re all about community and serving others outside of our walls.

April Watts
Children's Ministry

April  is a local mother who feels blessed by the opportunity to be our Children’s Ministry Coordinator. She has been President of the Middleburg Museum for several years, and helps run her family’s tree service. She grew up close to Middleburg, in the Ortega Area of Jacksonville.

She loves Mexican food.

April hopes to lead our children with a good dose of old fashioned values balanced with what today’s parents need. Two focuses will be memorizing Bible Verses and singing before the congregation on a more regular basis.

Peggy Washington
Youth Ministry

Peggy and her husband relocated to Jacksonville through the Navy, over a decade ago.  She then left her EMS career to start raising their two kids full time. Missing a more rural life; they moved to Middleburg and started attending worship at our church.  Outside of church… If she doesn’t have her nose in a book, chances are she is in a garden or a horse pasture.

Peggy has worked with many different types of youth groups in the past and really loves teaching teens. She finds it “thrilling finding new ways to help teens learn how to navigate the importance of faith and worship as they grow into young adults”.
