Disciple Bible Study

Disciple classes form yearly in the fall, Disciple Light is usually offered during Mid-Week Lift. Check here for dates as they become available.
 
Disciple I
A 34-week study that moves through the biblical story from Creation to the New Jerusalem that begins the Disciple Bible Study. The hoped for results of the program are to develop biblically nourished persons committed to live as disciples.
 
Disciple II
A 32-week study of Genesis/Exodus and Luke/Acts available to graduates of Disciple I. This study emphasizes the rhythm of coming to God and going for God, of being in the Word and in the world individually and corporately.
 
Disciple III
A 32-week study of The Prophets and The Letters of Paul available to graduates of Disciple I. It calls clergy and laity to disciplined Bible study that will result in a ministering community nourished by Scripture.
 
Disciple IV
A 32-week study of Old Testament Writings and the Gospel of John; 1, 2 and 3 John; James; Jude and Revelation in the New Testament is available to graduates of Disciple I. It continues too call clergy and laity to serious, disciplined Bible study that will result in development of biblically nourished servant-leaders.
 
 
Disciple Light - New Testament
Study the story of Jesus as the starting point for understanding the church's identity and mission. This study weaves a dialog between Matthew and the other New Testament writings. Learn how the New Testament writers wrestled with the issues and implications of the story of Jesus for the formation of communities of faith. Book is $10.
